Parallel and Perpendicular Vectors | Year 1 Pure | A Level Maths

Recognising parallel and perpendicular vectors is a key skill in coordinate geometry and mechanics. In this lesson you will learn how to use the property that two vectors are parallel if and only if one is a scalar multiple of the other, find a unit vector in the direction of a given vector, and apply these techniques to problems such as showing that three points are collinear or that a triangle has a right angle.
