Forces on a Slope (Without Friction) | Year 2 Mech | A Level Maths
Resolving forces on a slope is a key extension of the parallel forces work from Year 1. In this lesson you will learn how to resolve the weight of a particle into components along and perpendicular to a smooth inclined plane, write down Newton’s second law along the slope, and find the resulting acceleration or any unknown forces. The lesson treats only frictionless cases here, with friction added in the next topic.
