Partial Fractions | Year 2 Pure | A Level Maths
Partial fractions allow you to break a complicated rational expression into simpler pieces and are needed for advanced integration and series expansions. In this lesson you will learn how to decompose rational functions where the denominator is no more complicated than squared linear terms, with no more than three terms in the partial fraction form, and where numerators are constant or linear. Examples cover (ax + b)(cx + d)(ex + f) and (ax + b)(cx + d)^2.
