Differentiating Parametric Equations | Year 2 Pure | A Level Maths
Parametric differentiation extends calculus to curves defined parametrically. In this lesson you will learn how to use dy/dx = (dy/dt) / (dx/dt) to find the gradient at a given point on a parametric curve, find equations of tangents and normals to parametric curves, and locate stationary points. The lesson also covers the use of parametric equations in modelling, including motion in the (x, y) plane.
