Moments In 2-d (Not MEI or AQA) | Year 2 Mech | A Level Maths
Moments in two dimensions extend the 1-D techniques to non-parallel coplanar forces. In this lesson you will learn how to take the moment of a force about a chosen point by resolving the force into perpendicular components and using force times perpendicular distance, apply the equilibrium conditions for both translation and rotation, and solve problems involving non-parallel coplanar forces. The lesson is not part of the MEI or AQA specifications.
