Variable Acceleration Differentiation Problems | Year 1 Mech | A Level Maths
When acceleration is not constant, calculus replaces the suvat equations as the right tool for kinematics. In this lesson you will learn how to use v = dr/dt and a = dv/dt = d^2 r / dt^2 to find velocity and acceleration from a given displacement function, identify when an object is at rest or changes direction, and find maximum or minimum speeds. The level of calculus matches the pure maths content.
