Differential Equations | Year 1 Pure | A Level Maths

Differential equations describe how quantities change and are central to mathematical modelling. In this lesson you will learn how to recognise a first-order differential equation, integrate to recover a family of solutions, and use a given point on the curve to find the particular solution by determining the constant of integration. The lesson lays the groundwork for separable variable techniques and modelling problems in Year 2.
