Further Trigonometric Integration By Substitution | Year 2 Pure | A Level Maths
Trigonometric substitutions extend integration by substitution to integrands involving square roots and certain rational forms. In this lesson you will learn how to identify when a trig substitution is appropriate, perform the substitution, transform the integrand using trig identities, and complete the integration. The lesson builds on the earlier substitution work and develops the fluency needed for harder exam questions.
