Cumulative Frequency and Box Plots | Year 1 Stats | A Level Maths
Cumulative frequency curves and box plots are standard graphical tools for summarising a distribution. In this lesson you will learn how to construct a cumulative frequency diagram from grouped data, read off the median and quartiles, draw a box and whisker plot including outliers, and use these diagrams to compare distributions. The lesson also addresses how to identify possible outliers using rules such as Q1 — 1.5 IQR and Q3 + 1.5 IQR.
