Differentiation of trig functions is a regular feature of A-level exam papers. In this lesson you will learn how to differentiate sin kx, cos kx, tan kx and the reciprocal trig functions cosec x, cot x and sec x, combine these standard derivatives with the chain, product and quotient rules, and apply the techniques to find tangents, normals and stationary points of curves involving trig.
