Composite Functions | Year 2 Pure | A Level Maths
Composite functions describe what happens when one function is applied after another, and getting the order right is essential. In this lesson you will learn the convention that fg means ‘do g first, then f’, evaluate composite functions at specific points, find rules for fg and gf algebraically, and consider the domain of the composite. The skills developed here are used heavily in calculus through the chain rule.
