Exponential growth and decay are everywhere in the real world, and this lesson shows how A-level maths captures them. In this lesson you will learn how to use exponential models including continuous compound interest, radioactive decay, drug concentration decay, and population growth, find the constants used in a model from given data, interpret terms such as ‘initial’ meaning t = 0, and consider the limitations and refinements of an exponential model.
