Exponential and logarithmic graphs have shapes you must know on sight for A-level maths. In this lesson you will learn the graph of y = a^x for positive a, the difference in shape between a 1, the graph of y = e^x including transformations of the form y = e^(ax + b) + c, and the graph of y = ln x as the inverse of e^x. Recognising these features supports later work on exponential modelling and curve sketching.
