The Binomial Distribution: Trial and Improvement/Multiple Observations | Year 1 Stats | A Level Maths

Some binomial problems require trial and improvement to find the smallest n that gives a probability above a threshold, or combine probabilities across multiple observations. In this lesson you will learn how to use a calculator to evaluate cumulative binomial probabilities for varying n or p, find the least n satisfying a given probability inequality, and use independence to combine probabilities across separate observations of the same experiment.
