Connected Rates of Change | Year 2 Pure | A Level Maths
Connected rates of change apply the chain rule to situations where two or more quantities are changing simultaneously. In this lesson you will learn how to relate rates such as dV/dt to dV/dr and dr/dt via dV/dt = (dV/dr)(dr/dt), set up the problem from a worded question, and substitute given values to find the required rate. Classic examples include expanding spheres, leaking tanks and shadow problems.
