Friction On An Inclined Plane | Year 2 Mech | A Level Maths

Combining friction with an inclined plane brings together resolving forces and the friction model. In this lesson you will learn how to resolve weight into components parallel and perpendicular to a rough inclined plane, apply F = mu R when the particle is moving and F <= mu R when it is in equilibrium, and find the acceleration up or down the slope, the angle at which a particle is on the point of slipping, and any unknown forces.
