One-Tailed Binomial Tests | Year 1 Stats | A Level Maths
Hypothesis testing using the binomial distribution is the entry point to all of inferential statistics at A-level. In this lesson you will learn the language of statistical hypothesis testing — null hypothesis, alternative hypothesis, significance level, test statistic, 1-tail test, critical value, p-value — and apply it to a one-tailed test for the proportion in the binomial distribution, expressing hypotheses in terms of the population parameter p and interpreting the result in context.
