Critical Regions in Binomial Tests | Year 1 Stats | A Level Maths

Critical regions provide an alternative way of conducting a binomial hypothesis test that does not require explicit p-value calculation each time. In this lesson you will learn how to find the critical region by identifying the smallest set of values of the test statistic for which the null hypothesis is rejected, the corresponding acceptance region, and how to use the actual significance level to compare with the nominal significance level.
